Though he has two lovely daughters from his baby mama, the self acclaimed Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, has said he is not ready to tie the knots- at least not for now. Speaking  recently, Timaya said he promised the mother of his children that he wasn’t going to have kids from different women but then,  walking down the aisle was not on his to-do list. “I am not getting married soon. My life is a journey. My career is my journey. I didn’t lie to my baby mama when she was pregnant; I told her I wasn’t ready to get married. I never said I wasn’t going to get married. But at the moment, I am not ready. When she told me she was pregnant, I accepted the pregnancy. She told me she hoped I wasn’t going to be like other musicians who had kids from different women. I told her no. My two kids are from same woman. I know what I am doing.” And now that he is a father, Timaya said it is a wonderful feeling and he loves his daughters so much. “I never knew I could love anyone t

Those who felt the union between E-Money’s Five Star Music Label and Harrysong was a match made in heaven were shocked when the gist broke that the Reggae Blues crooner had left the record label. Now, Harrysong has joined the long list of artistes who dumped their record labels to set up their own. And as he has left, the singer, who claimed he wrote most of the songs in the record label, said his former label would need to recreate their sounds since he has left with the sounds he created while he was with the team. “My exit from Five Star music will not crumble the record label. They have other artistes and it is a platform that has been built for years. I was there when we started the whole movement and now, I have started mine with my artistes. If any of them should go, my record label will not crumble. I know I wrote most of their songs but with my exit, their sound would change. I came with my own sound and since I am leaving with it, they would have to create some

President Muhammadu Buhari has dismissed rumours that he and the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership are at odds with party stalwart Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. He described such rumours as unfounded and mischievous. A statement by Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, said the President was highly embarrassed by such “suggestions”. Buhari, he said, was in regular contact with Tinubu before, during and after the Ondo governorship election. He said suggestions that the President and the party machinery were working to destroy Tinubu had no foundation in truth or any credibility, adding that the President was impressed by Tinubu’s assurance not to work against the party in Ondo and he honoured his word. He also explained that President Buhari regards Tinubu as a priceless political asset to the party whose immeasurable contributions to the development and progress of the ruling party are known to all. Shehu advised rumour mongers to s

TOYIN AIMAKHU: THE PAST CAME CALLING

HOW can she get this boy off her back? It was only a stint romp, but the romance was faulty from start to finish. And if actress Toyin Aimakhu had enjoyed some monetary largess from Seun Egbegbe, it is doubtful that they are worth the shameful incidents in the aftermath of that affair. ‘Nobody’ knew who Seun Egbegbe was, until about a year ago when the actress introduced him to the media in the course of their controversial romance. She had just left her husband and fellow actor, Niyi Johnson, on the account of infidelity, leaving many to wonder if Egbegbe was any better They had concealed the relationship initially; with Aimakhu claiming it was avuncular, but it only a matter of time before denial gave way to silence that spoke volumes. He took her on a secret romantic trip to Dubai in September 2015 and presented her with a Range Rover SUV, stuff that it was clear her struggling ex-hubby couldn’t afford. She threw caution to the wind until the breeze blew back with unpleasant he

Menopause is the day a woman experiences her last menstrual cycle because her ovaries, which produce eggs, have slowed down. Most women cannot wait to get off the pain, cramps and, most times, the discomfort they experience during menstruation. Yet, when it eventually bids goodbye, many are ill-prepared for the medical and psychological challenges that follow. However, most women have said that instead of relief, they feel less feminine; others even thought they had contacted a disease. Not to worry, doctors have said menopause, which is the permanent end of menstruation, is a turning point in a woman’s life, not a disease. Menopause does not happen suddenly, it is a gradual process, but many women fail to see the warnings, hence they experience complications such as hot flashes and severe issues like heart diseases and osteoporosis says a gynaecologist, Dr. Jeni Worden, “Menopause is a milestone   – it’s the day that marks 12 months in a row since a woman’s last period
