How Pinenick beat noisy Neighbour Anjorin!

From Tony Ubani in Addis Ababa NFF’s President, Melvin Amaju Pinnick has won a place in the CAF Executive Committee thereby becoming the third Nigerian to occupy that position after late Etubom Orok Oyo Orok and Dr Amos Adamu. In climbing to the exalted position, Pinnick crushed loquacious Anjorin Moucharafou from neighboring  Republic of Benin 32 to 17 votes. Amaju’s victory crowned all his efforts as the pioneer of a new generation of African football administrators having plotted the downfall of septuagenarian Issa Hayatou who reigned as CAF president for 29 years. The victory of the Nigerian which was celebrated by majority of African football administrators also put an end to the era of Hayatou as most of his cronies failed to get elected in the CAF Executive board. Man robs with a toy gun in Ogun state

A 25-year-old man, Oyatokun Wasiu, who alleged robbed some people of phones and money with a toy gun, was on Thursday remanded in prison on the orders of an Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court. The accused, whose address is unknown, is facing a three count charge of armed robbery, impersonation and unlawful possession of Army camouflage. The prosecutor, Insp. Sunday Eigbejiale, told the court that the accused committed the offences on March 1 at about 5.00 p.m. behind the Railway Police Station, Lafenwa, Abeokuta. Eigbegiale said that the accuse, armed with a toy gun,  allegedly robbed a man, Abdullahi Ibrahim, of his Intel phone valued at N12,000 and N4,000 cash. He alleged that on the same day and place at about 6.20 p.m. the accused unlawfully had in his possession a pair of army camouflage and shorts. “The accused also impersonated a military officer by putting on an army camouflage.” The prosecutor said that the accused was arrested by a police officer in Lafenwa, Abeokuta. Big Brother Naija housemate, Thin Tall Tony, addressed as TTT, has rejected a N1 million offer from Big Brother to quit the house. In a diary session with Big Brother, the housemate, who is up for eviction this weekend turned down the offer insisting he will win the show. Recall that TTT alongside T-boss, Efe and Debbie Rise were last weekend nominated for eviction. When asked if he will take a million naira and save himself the stress of remaining in the house, he replied, “No. I don’t want it. “I have a policy in life that i don’t give up. “If I have taken that long time ago I won’t be here.”
