My name is Babatunde Anjola.A loving husband and a caring husband. A simple person and a God fairing being who wants everyone's happiness,because i believe everyone is equal before Allah. Born and brought up in Lagos State.

HOW WAS YOUR UP BRINGING LIKE?


My up bringing was like every other person's own, it was good and fantastic. I grew up on the street of island and that was a good lesson no money can't buy, being a ''street guy'' makes me what i am today because i started learnig handi work which was a video coverage work at a tender age.











WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A CINEMATOGRAPHER?


Nothing really inspired me. I felt i should have a source of income for myself and i decided to go learn camera work which is event coverage and back then we call it video coverage. Then we use Hitachi, Panasonic and Jvc camera with VHS cassette. How fuuny right?

HOW MANY MOVIES HAVE YOU DONE SO FAR?


So far so good i have lost count on jobs that i have shot since i joined  the movie industry, but i have shot many good and an award winning movies both English and Yoruba. Award winning movies like Iya Alalake produced by Fathia balogun ''The best indigenous movie AMVCA 2016'' and Ejika ''Best picture NEA Awards 2016'' and some other popular movies i cant remember.

HAVE YOU PRODUCE ANY MOVIES AS A CINEMATOGRAPHER?


Yes sure why not. As a cinematographer and a producer i have produced Movies like Alelagba,Ayonitemi, Fayeyemi, Orisun, Oni to mention but few at least who will say i am jack of all trade right? lol

WHEN DID YOU HAD YOUR 1ST KISS?


HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA That's a very funny question oooo, but to say the truth i cant remember. I don't keep such memory ( Ise ti poju) means work is too much for me to remember such.

SADDEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE?


I am not a sadist and mind you life is full of ups and down. When the good comes we rejoice and when the other side comes to we just have to pray for Allah's direction.






WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL IN THE INDUSTRY?


Hmmmmm role model sha? i don't think i av any, its not that am better off and of course i met some people in this field but i believe that one must have his or her own style of doing things. So i believe in learning new things and create the best out of it.

Hmmmmm ok ooooo, That they should see me as their self  and please pardon me of any mistake whatsoever. I love my fans both home and abroad and promise i wont let them down.

Film-makers reject dubbing of Chinese films into Yoruba, Hausa

Top indigenous film-makers and actors that include Dele Odule, Jide Kosoko and Tunji Bamisigbin have opposed an alleged plan by a pay-TV provider, Star Times, to broadcast Chinese films dubbed into Yoruba and other indigenous languages. According to them, the development is capable of destroying the indigenous film industry. They spoke at a briefing held at the LTV complex, Ikeja, Lagos, last Wednesday.At the event attended by actors, producers and marketers, including Yemi Solade, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdurasak and Tunji Ojetola, they called on the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and the National Assembly to stop the move that they described as one that can cause cultural erosion. In his speech as the President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Odule said, as stakeholders, they had the responsibility to act as gate keepers to monitor and regulate practice in Nigeria.He said it was also part of ...

How kidnapped Lagos teachers, pupils were released

Kidnapped four pupils and two teachers of Lagos State Model College, Igbonla Epe, were ferried to safety in two speedboats by their abductors on Tuesday, it was learnt yesterday. The victims – Abu, Emmanuel Okonkwo, Jeremiah Ruth, Isaac Adebisi – Junior School Vice Principal A. O. Oyesola and English teacher Lukman Oyerinde, were dropped off inside a forest where they trekked for over two hours before meeting their relatives. Our reporters learnt that they were asked to walk in a line and not look back until they got to the point where family members had waited for over four hours. The vice principal led the pack and the English teacher was asked to stay at the rear, leaving the pupils in-between. The victims were taken to the Epe General Hospital for check-up.  Some of them were diagnosed with typhoid and malaria. The father of one of the victims said: “They spent many hours at the hospital and were later moved to a house in Epe where the principal addressed them....
