I'm Jumobi Bamgbose aka as Mc jummyflex. i am from lagos state (lagos island) to be precised. Also i'm an actor,host,mc and avstand up comedian, Lover of  Christ and loved by all.


 HOW WAS YOUR UPBRINGING LIKE?

I'm from a family of (six ) 5males and one female,second to the last of the family though. My dad is a retired clergy and my mum was a trader. It wasn't easy growing up in the midst of able bodied men but at the same was fun, my brothers use to beat the hell out of me while we were growing up cause i was quite stubborn(that can happen to anyone lol). Grew up in various part of nigeria Lagos,ogun and ondo. Attended cabataf international schools in ondo state proceed to abesan senior high school and finally had my BSC in Lagos State University.

                                       

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BE A COMEDIAN/ACTOR?

I got inspired by been an entertainer way back from primary school, acting both in school and church. The i was in secondary school i was hosting a lot of school events like press day and all other inter schools events so that was when i took my mc career from.

                    

HOW MANY MOVIES HAVE YOU FEATURED IN?

Haba you shouldn't have asked about movies alone now or have you forgotten am a host too? Anyway i've featured in couple of English and yoruba tv series and i have also hosted so many event also as a stand up comedian/mc.

                                      

                            

 YOUR FIRST KISS?

Wow that's a big punch on my face but none the less have got to answer it. I actually had my first kiss when i was sixteen with a girl i was having crush on back then in my SSS2 days. (lol).


                                                    


YOUR ROLE MODELS?

Oyeah ok as an entertainer growing up to see uncle Akin Lewis and Richard Mofe Damijo was something that soothes my career, so they are my role models. as a stand up comedian Basket Mouth has been my mentor.


ANY CHALLENGES AS AN ACTOR/MC?

Well...... we all know as a rising entertainer its not always easy, you will get ridiculed,humiliated and all but trust me once you start getting there bit by bit you overcome all of those that seems like a stumbling block.


                                      


 WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM YOUR BRAND?

Something massive is coming pretty soon but i wont let the cat out the bag yet. keep your fingers crossed.

                                           

ADVICE TO YOUR FANS?

They are not my fans they are actually my family so advice to my friends cause like i said i wont call them fans  is to stay away from drugs and crime.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS?

Wooooow in five years time i see myself bringing another big thing into Nigeria entertainment across the globe.

Film-makers reject dubbing of Chinese films into Yoruba, Hausa

Top indigenous film-makers and actors that include Dele Odule, Jide Kosoko and Tunji Bamisigbin have opposed an alleged plan by a pay-TV provider, Star Times, to broadcast Chinese films dubbed into Yoruba and other indigenous languages. According to them, the development is capable of destroying the indigenous film industry. They spoke at a briefing held at the LTV complex, Ikeja, Lagos, last Wednesday.At the event attended by actors, producers and marketers, including Yemi Solade, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdurasak and Tunji Ojetola, they called on the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and the National Assembly to stop the move that they described as one that can cause cultural erosion. In his speech as the President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Odule said, as stakeholders, they had the responsibility to act as gate keepers to monitor and regulate practice in Nigeria.He said it was also part of ...

How kidnapped Lagos teachers, pupils were released

Kidnapped four pupils and two teachers of Lagos State Model College, Igbonla Epe, were ferried to safety in two speedboats by their abductors on Tuesday, it was learnt yesterday. The victims – Abu, Emmanuel Okonkwo, Jeremiah Ruth, Isaac Adebisi – Junior School Vice Principal A. O. Oyesola and English teacher Lukman Oyerinde, were dropped off inside a forest where they trekked for over two hours before meeting their relatives. Our reporters learnt that they were asked to walk in a line and not look back until they got to the point where family members had waited for over four hours. The vice principal led the pack and the English teacher was asked to stay at the rear, leaving the pupils in-between. The victims were taken to the Epe General Hospital for check-up.  Some of them were diagnosed with typhoid and malaria. The father of one of the victims said: “They spent many hours at the hospital and were later moved to a house in Epe where the principal addressed them....
