Pogba is useless, not worth £20m – Eamon Dunphy
Former Manchester United youth team player, Eamon Dunphy, has described The Red Devils’ world record signing, Paul Pogba, as ‘useless’.
The 71-year-old Irishman, who joined United in 1962, but left in 1965 after failing to break into the first team at Old Trafford, blasted Pogba for an astonishing below par performance against Liverpool at the weekend.
The Frenchman struggled against Jurgen Klopp’s side, missing a good chance to put the Red Devils in front before conceding a penalty following a wild handball.
And Dunphy was unforgiving in his criticism of the former Juventus playmaker.
“Pogba was never worth £100m, ” he told Game On on 2FM.
“At £20m he would have been expensive. With the money they’ve spent with Mourinho and van Gaal, they should really have a better team.
“Paul Pogba is very immature. He plays like a kid. He is not worth the money they paid for him and he won’t be worth the money they paid for him.
“He is the elephant in the room. He’s useless.”
