Ajadi Olajumoke Ewatomi well known as JAYHEMKAY has released her first debut movie titled MORUFA BODIJA.


   

 Ajadi Olajumoke Ewatomi is a Filmmaker, Red carpet host, Presenter, Content creator and an Actor. She hails from Ikire Osun State but brought up in Ibadan Oyo state Nigeria. 


Morufa Bodija which is now in circulation nationwide tells a story of a typical Ibadan girl, a village champion who arrases everyone that crosses her path with her flippant mouth and believes no-one can over shadow her but at the end she finds love and everything became normal for her.



Morufa Bodija is written and produced by Ajadi Olajumoke Ewatomi, which she has also have featured in over 20 movies such as  Aye Keji, TK, Arewa, Omoge oni theatre, Inu ogba, Ayalo, Arewa oko, Odere Olounje, Oloku Ada, Ibadi Aran and so on.

The movie features actors such as FUNSO ADEOLU, MIDE FM ABIODUN, Sola Akintunde, Tunde Usman, Ope Olusanya amongst others.

Film-makers reject dubbing of Chinese films into Yoruba, Hausa

Top indigenous film-makers and actors that include Dele Odule, Jide Kosoko and Tunji Bamisigbin have opposed an alleged plan by a pay-TV provider, Star Times, to broadcast Chinese films dubbed into Yoruba and other indigenous languages. According to them, the development is capable of destroying the indigenous film industry. They spoke at a briefing held at the LTV complex, Ikeja, Lagos, last Wednesday.At the event attended by actors, producers and marketers, including Yemi Solade, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdurasak and Tunji Ojetola, they called on the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and the National Assembly to stop the move that they described as one that can cause cultural erosion. How kidnapped Lagos teachers, pupils were released

Kidnapped four pupils and two teachers of Lagos State Model College, Igbonla Epe, were ferried to safety in two speedboats by their abductors on Tuesday, it was learnt yesterday. The victims – Abu, Emmanuel Okonkwo, Jeremiah Ruth, Isaac Adebisi – Junior School Vice Principal A. O. Oyesola and English teacher Lukman Oyerinde, were dropped off inside a forest where they trekked for over two hours before meeting their relatives. Our reporters learnt that they were asked to walk in a line and not look back until they got to the point where family members had waited for over four hours. The vice principal led the pack and the English teacher was asked to stay at the rear, leaving the pupils in-between. The victims were taken to the Epe General Hospital for check-up.  Some of them were diagnosed with typhoid and malaria. The father of one of the victims said: “They spent many hours at the hospital and were later moved to a house in Epe where the principal addressed them....
