Mary J Blige's Soon To Be Ex Hubby Demands For Spousal Support!


Mary J Blige recently filed for divorce, but things may start to get ugly if we are to believe the news...
The Queen of Hip Hop R&B's soon to be ex husband, Kendy Isaacs, is seeking spousal suppport- probably a lot of it.





 According to TMZ, Isaacs has answered Blige's petition for divorce by asking for spousal support, although she has requested it to be denied. Reportedly he is also asking that Blige pays his legal fees. Blige and Isaacs were married in 2003 and he has served as her manager as well. Maxwell and Blige will be embarking on the King and Queen of Hearts World Tour this fall.

Film-makers reject dubbing of Chinese films into Yoruba, Hausa

Top indigenous film-makers and actors that include Dele Odule, Jide Kosoko and Tunji Bamisigbin have opposed an alleged plan by a pay-TV provider, Star Times, to broadcast Chinese films dubbed into Yoruba and other indigenous languages. According to them, the development is capable of destroying the indigenous film industry. They spoke at a briefing held at the LTV complex, Ikeja, Lagos, last Wednesday.At the event attended by actors, producers and marketers, including Yemi Solade, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdurasak and Tunji Ojetola, they called on the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and the National Assembly to stop the move that they described as one that can cause cultural erosion. How kidnapped Lagos teachers, pupils were released

Kidnapped four pupils and two teachers of Lagos State Model College, Igbonla Epe, were ferried to safety in two speedboats by their abductors on Tuesday, it was learnt yesterday. The victims – Abu, Emmanuel Okonkwo, Jeremiah Ruth, Isaac Adebisi – Junior School Vice Principal A. O. Oyesola and English teacher Lukman Oyerinde, were dropped off inside a forest where they trekked for over two hours before meeting their relatives. Our reporters learnt that they were asked to walk in a line and not look back until they got to the point where family members had waited for over four hours. The vice principal led the pack and the English teacher was asked to stay at the rear, leaving the pupils in-between. The victims were taken to the Epe General Hospital for check-up.  Some of them were diagnosed with typhoid and malaria.
